Our Open Night 2024 was a great opportunity to show prospective pupils and parents all that goes on in our school. Charlie and Alise in Yr8 welcomed everyone and shared a little of their experiences of life in Fivemiletown College so far. We also had the perspective of a parent, and our Principal, Mrs Allen. The school tour was interactive and action-packed, reflecting the work that goes on in classrooms and beyond. From pets in Agriculture to puzzles in Geography, beats in Music to bones in Science, block coding in ICT to block building in RE, joints in technology to gymnastics in PE, quizzes in Maths to je ne sais quoi in French, drama in Drama (what else?) and very busy bees in Art! Refreshments in HE were most welcome too! It was a fabulous night. The contribution from our own pupils was huge and we appreciate every one of them for giving of their time to be tour guides, presenters, demonstrators and helpers.
