An air of celebration was tangible at Fivemiletown College on Thursday 25 August as Year 11 and Year 12 pupils received an outstanding set of GCSE results.
The GCSE results are the best ever in the history of the school with 100% of year 12 pupils gaining at least 5 A* - C grades. This, coupled with 92% of year 12 pupils gaining at least 5A* - C grades including English and Maths reflects the hard work and dedication of students, parents and staff over the course of the last two very difficult years.
These results don't just happen, behind every grade there is hard work, sacrifice and lots of support from school and family. We applaud our families who instil a good work ethic in their children and encourage them by being taxi drivers, shoulders to cry on, listening ears, providers of food, launderettes...the list is endless, and we acknowledge our families as we all celebrate such good results!
